ABOUT- The affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcée Wallis Simpson, and a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.

STORYLINE- In 1998, an auction of the estate of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor causes great excitement. For one woman, Wally Winthrop, it has much more meaning. Wally becomes obsessed by their historic love story. As she learns more about the sacrifices involved, Wally gains her own courage to find happiness.

WITH: Andrea Riseborough (Wallis Simpson), Abbie Cornish (Wally Winthrop), Richard Coyle (William Winthrop), James D’Arcy (Edward) and Oscar Isaac (Evgeni).





I really don't understand how this got any bad reviews. Perhaps you need your heads examined...

I would really say this ia an amazing film. Stunning to watch. Loved the two stories, and how they come together throughout the film. who care what the raings say. If you enjoy period pieces you will love this.!

Its romantic, well done!! Madonna!
